It is the penultimate day of November in Manchester. Persephone makes a choice, James desperately tries to make things right and a surprise visitor to the shop brings out the worst in Darren.

James, still not aware of Persephone's discover, contemplates what life would be like without his dearest friend, Regina. Meanwhile, Lee decides to declare his love for the girl with the yellow scarf. Today, that very same girl will make a decision which will shape the final days of November In Manchester.

While James regrets his actions yesterday, Persephone toils under the iron sleaze of her employer. She will discover about James' infidelity later this afternoon. Meanwhile, the fate of Regina – rushed to hospital yesterday – is revealed.

Tuesday24

One week into her relationship with James, Persephone is discovering that her outlook on life is slowly morphing; she is becoming an adult. Meanwhile, Melody has a meeting with her manager which will have long-lasting consequences, while James prepares to invite Persephone over for a meal at his flat. His decision will see the pair go their separate ways by the end of the day.

It's a cool, sunny day in the city. Festive cheer has gripped Persephone as she heads into work, while Darren begins his plan to win her back from James. Regina's failing health becomes a concern to Paul, her husband.

Persephone invites James over for her birthday dinner, while Darren contemplates how to crowbar himself back into the young lady's life. Meanwhile, Paul becomes concerned about his wife's illness.

Saturday21

Welcome to the afternoon after the night before. No one is saying much: James stays schtum, while Persephone dodges Molly's questions. Maybe the day will loosen their tongues.

Friday20

Today, Persephone will show James that there is more to Manchester than the inside of his flat and the bar at the train station. Meanwhile, Leonie makes a decision about her future.

Thursday19

James is surprised to have enjoyed his evening out with Persephone yesterday. Even more surprising, is that when the young lady tells him she is in town for the afternoon, he decides to abandon his post in the office to spend some time with her.

Wednesday18

The skies are pouring, although it's not enough to deter Persephone from her ill-planned day trip to the ship canal. If she avoids the flood, Persephone is anticipating a lovely evening with her latest infatuation, James. That is, If he turns up.

It's a clear morning in Manchester. Persephone anxiously waits for a response from James, while Leonie contemplates a new life in a different city.

Welcome to week three – James and Persephone meet for the first time socially while Leonie tries to make amends at work.

James sits alone in his spotless flat, awaiting the weekly visit from Paul and Regina. Meanwhile, Darren reminisces over his time with the girl they call Persephone.

Saturday14

Persephone wakes up to a hangover, a full shift at work and a complete lack of clean clothes. James wakes up to the smell of cleaning fluid. Next week, they will both wake up together.

James wakes up to the prospect of another weekend alone. The weekend, however, has other plans for him. Persephone, still recovering from a night of fireworks and dancing, looks forward to an evening with her favourite girls.

Christmas comes to Manchester. The city's streets will soon glow with festive cheer, although Persephone needs little encouragement to get into the party spirit. James, on the other hand, requires a bit more encouragement.

Tonight, James will be offered a way out of his current existence. Whether or not he will accept it is another matter entirely.

Tuesday10

Regina, fraught with nerves, decides to tell James about her pregnancy. She has no way to predict how he will react to the news. Meanwhile, Persephone considers returning to tomorrow's bereavement session.

Monday. Reggie prepares for a day of culture in Chorlton, James prepares for another day in the office and Persephone prepares for whatever the day can throw at her.

Sunday. The empty flat is beginning to dampen Persephone's usually cheerful disposition. Meanwhile, James' empty abode is blessed with visitors for the first time this week as Reggie and Paul pay their regular Sunday visit.

It's a brisk Saturday in Manchester. The weather is bright for now, although James doesn't care. He wasn't going to leave the flat anyway. Meanwhile, Melody decides to take a trip into the city, while Persephone tries to stimulate her creative side.

The smell of gunpowder is in the air this morning after last night's fireworks. Persephone prepares to go back to work for the first time since being dumped by Darren, while James plans his weekend.

Thursday05

Persephone is a little shaken from her experiences at James' bereavement group yesterday. Still, her housemate is leaving town for a few days and she's in no mood to sit around moping for the lives of relative strangers. Meanwhile, Paul and Reggie journey into the city to sample the finest in Manchester's culture.

Tuesday03

Tuesday was one of reflection for Persephone and James. Having been unceremoniously dumped by Darren via her email, Persephone spent the afternoon sauntering around her old student haunts. Meanwhile, James was frustrated in his attempts to recall his first date with Samantha. Today will be a better day for both of them...
